About QuinTron Instrument Company

QuinTron Instrument Company was founded in 1962 and originally worked in the field of pulmonary function instrumentation. For the past 45 years, our only goals have been to manufacture the highest quality breath-testing devices and to provide the highest quality service to our customers.

Our staff is professionally trained to support you in the business of breath testing. We began manufacturing gas chromatographs for breath tests used in gastroenterology in 1976. In 1980, the instrument was adapted with a solid-state sensor specific for reducing gases, and we introduced the QuinTron Model 12. From that time forward, QuinTron has been dedicated to this special field. We developed a line of instruments which includes devices with the capability to measure breath methane and apply a correction factor for carbon dioxide.

Global Reach

QuinTron, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA, is a private-owned company that is quality minded and detail oriented. Our instruments, devices, and accessories are marketed around the world. We are very proud to announce the recent opening of QuinTron-EU in Rome, Italy. QuinTron-EU provides sales and service support to QuinTron's customers in the European Union.

Quality

QuinTron instruments are considered the "gold standard" in breath testing, and we continually strive to live up to that standard. QuinTron's quality management system is ISO 13485:2003 certified and FDA QSR compliant, and QuinTron's products are CE marked for conformance to EU standards.

The Future of Breath Testing

The ability of breath trace-gas analyses to provide measurements that aid in the non-invasive diagnosis of disaccharide malabsorption and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is well established. Our Research and Development team works with leaders in the field and continually reviews the potential for the measurement of these and other trace gases to aid in the diagnosis of other conditions and disorders.
